Yay! Great choices. There's lots of room for all kinds of books and bookends prompts. 😄

Life Is For Living December 07, 2015

Huzzah! & that rounds off the Bookends choices for our individual prompts next year. Go us!

Jeanine December 07, 2015

I'm surprised you haven't finished this list yet!

HAHAHA. I'm going to do it, too, but know I'm just fooling myself :D

I didn't finish this years yet, I still have four prompts that I probably won't fill.

I made my own list for 2016, I just put a bunch of them together and voila!

Jeanine December 07, 2015

Oh! You have a different one than the one I have; I will probably steal some of your prompts as they suit me!

You'll kill it, I know it!

I recommend All the Light We Cannot See for the Pulitzer!

Lepetit pumpkinesque pandora ⋅ December 08, 2015

I already read it!! I loved it so much!

pandora February 26, 2016

I loved The House of Sand and Fog--how are his other books? I put the Alan Cumming one on my To Buy list. I love him in both The L Word and The Good Wife, and he's vegan and bi, and when you wrote about how much you loved the autobiography, it sealed the deal!

Lepetit pumpkinesque pandora ⋅ February 26, 2016

The garden of beasts and house of sand and fog were my favorites. His dad writes too! It was fun to compare them. You will LOVE Alan's book

The last Smoke & Bone was disappointing but I enjoyed the first 2 in that series!

Lepetit pumpkinesque moneypenny ⋅ February 27, 2016

You didn't like it?? I loved it!

moneypenny Lepetit pumpkinesque ⋅ February 28, 2016

I felt like there was a lot of filler in the last one? Like there's a long bit where she keeps the main couple apart just for tension and not because it makes any sense in the narrative. And I thought the faction at the end was sort of an unearned Deus Ex Machina. But I generally loved the world-building and the dialogue and the characters overall, so I wasn't too mad. The first two books were amazing and I read them almost in one sitting.

pandora April 04, 2016

Did you already read All The Light We Cannot See? That's a Pulitzer and it was one of the best books I read last year (this year?) for SURE.

Lepetit pumpkinesque pandora ⋅ April 04, 2016

I read it last year and it was MY FAVORITE 2015 book!! I'm glad you liked the Alan Cumming Memoir!

pandora April 04, 2016

By the way, I really liked the Alan Cumming memoir!
