Okay, so first thing I did this morning at work was to write down my list of what I needed to get done at work and what I needed to get done at home. I will share the list then update as to successes and failures.

(1) Surprisingly, I did get all the Discovery except the smallest town in my jurisdiction. Which is becoming an issue cuz.... little town.... I need you to respond to my requests within 7 to 14 days. Seriously.
(2) It took… a while… which is silly....because this is a “CRIME AND EVIDENCE OF CRIME ON CAMERA” but.... this is another one of those.... you’re so drunk, you’re incoherent. Your preliminary breath test was three times the legal limit! But “Fuck you, y’all are just racist” so.... let’s waste everyone’s time to make sure I have 30 minutes of video establishing the crime, the evidence of the crime, confirmation of the crime, the breath test, and all of the drunky drunkerson behavior!
(3) I was able to review a lot of it but I need to do more Thursday Morning. And yet… I have a feeling the witnesses won’t show up so… that’s always a bit of a challenge for me. When… I know that chances are good that it isn’t going to go? It’s hard to do the job as it should be done.
(4) Pretrials were.... ufda. 84 hearings but ONE Defendant was 44 of those damned hearings!
(5) Post Work was actually fairly easy to handle
(6) We didn’t get our District Court Schedules until 4:30… so I was able to do it… it just… meant I stayed late.
(7) Staying late didn’t get all of the e-mail crap finished; so I had to throw some of that onto tomorrow as well.
(8) Easily managed. I just had to find Aisle 132.
(9) Hy Vee for essentials was easy
(10) Testing the Home Security had positives and negatives. The same key is for both the BOLT lock and the DOOR lock. But what always happens is that… the Bolt Lock is fine; the Door lock doesn’t budge.
(11) Emptied the car’s trunk which makes the garage more full; but I need the space for luggage this weekend.
(12) Nala was a good girl and hooray for Good Girl Treats!
(13) Got to the Dog Park around 6-ish. The parking lot was fucking covered. Two dozen cars or more easily. And yet- nobody at the dog park. It was two separate groups of cyclists that decided to use the parking lot as their “meet up” for their “big nighttime bike ride.”
(14) Texted the cleaners that I figured out the Door issue
(15) Finished the entry and published it
(16) Got home, threw the laundry into the washer
(17) Made the soup
(18) Ate the soup
(19) Threw the laundry into the dyer
(20) And now at 9:30… doing this while the Dryer is still going. So… whenever that finishes… fold the laundry, hang the laundry, take my meds and go to bed!
