I got to meet a bunch of fellow independent artists. Some really interesting and super talented people out here making music because they love music.
I have been so blessed to be what I do and while winning awards is a good pat on the back for the hard work - it’s not why I do it. I remember getting to sit and listen to music with my grandad. Playing and singing music is the best gift I could possibly give back for the gift that’s been given. I’d rather do this than breathe.
