Got rear ended today. Third accident with the car in just about as many years. The driver was not insured and basically left without exchanging information.
I fumbled big, I keep fucking up, it is really, and I mean this in the most serious, adult way possible; really not fun being the 41 yr old boy still.
I didn’t think to even ask for his license, I just snapped a picture of his plates. I’m in the wind for this one about the same I was for everything else that’s happened to this car while i’ve owned it.
I’m not meant for this. I can’t even cover bases, right, can’t even maintain the one thing i’m trusted to be responsible for, it’s an awful feeling.
Filed a police report online and i’m just waiting for that to move now. I guess.
Accidents don’t care though, right?
Some bleepin’ Mexican guy (who even said “I was distracted, Mijo”.) just up and shrugs at me while asking me to follow him home..yeah, smart.
No, I did not follow him home, whatever ‘cash’ he would’ve given me (if any let’s be real) would not cover the likely 1500, 2000 i’m looking at now. The car is drivable, but you can see plastic where the bumper..used to be. Breaklights and trunk are fine.
Thanks Dog
Thanks Dude, all the fun stuff in my early childhood wasn’t enough so you poured it on a little thicker throughout my adolescence and young adulthood but it’s like right now, this time in my life is where you’re really enjoying watching me flail and realize one day I wont even be fit to be around people.
Thanks. So thankful.
Mom and dad were pissed.
That’s not something you’d hear from a normal adult in their 40’s is it?
Thanks for stopping by.
I saw that movie Nobody 2 the other day, if you like short movies, it’s worth a watch.
