So, I checked the weather before going to work today in an effort to make sure I was planning a responsible and intelligent After Work Responsibility List. It shouldn’t be raining today! So… here’s hoping
(1) Arrive home; review house w/Nala- give Good Girl treat as appropriate
(2) Respond to Personal E-Mails
(3) Change Clothes
(4) Take Dog for small walk
(5) Take Dog to Dog Park
(6) Upon arriving back home, clear Dinning Room Table and Kitchen Table
(7) Clear Kitchen surfaces
(8) Do dishes
(9) Eat 2 slices of pizza and maybe an apple while watching Daredevil
(10) Gather glass redemption and place in car
(11) Call in Rx Refill
(12) If time, video games and Basement Time for Dog
I would have had everything done by 8 p.m. if it wasn’t for the Walgreens issue. Pharmacy down the street? Been filling my meds since I moved here. Temporarily Closed Looked online? Happening to Walgreens locations all over. Staffing shortages they claim. Which… well… when you consider everything… isn’t this what I’ve been fucking talking about?! Specialty Jobs that require specific education and licensing.... you should probably make sure you are paying them well, treating them well, and creating an environment where the educated actually want to be. WHICH… has rapidly meant not Iowa for the last 5 years or more for far too many. SO.... happy I succeeded in many things. Even took an e-mail to a texting conversation and may have a date for Sunday- we’ll see. BUT… yeah. Need to… spend the rest of my evening.... trying to see if I can find a local pharmacy to fill my medications!
