I completed 3 miles on the treadmill and 1/2 mile on a "arch" machine.. combination elliptical/stair stepper...
Treadmill miles were alternating quarter mile intervals for the 1st 2 miles then I walked most of the 3rd mile but still finish at less than 54 minutes. Made sure to put the machine at a .5 incline to help mimic wind resistance of running outside.
Arch machine... very odd, I think my legs are too short and I'm not a fan of keeping my feet still because my toes fall asleep.
