Monday I put Rose to sleep.
Thank you to everyone for your kind words. I’m not broken up over it. Yes I shed tears but not full on ugly cry. I made my peace with her declining health months ago.
Tuesday Ozzy joined Rose so she’d have a friend.

I’ve been reflecting on ‘03 - ‘04 when I set up the pool table in the garage. Inside were an old couch, fan and CD player so it became the hangout spot at night for my friends and I. One night brought out a few of my Black Sabbath albums and we blasted them all night. Eric liked Tony Iommi’s classical guitar parts. Peter was rocking out to Paranoid. I sang along with Nativity In Black. I don’t remember what Ben was doing ha.
Good times with good tunes provided by a master class band.
Wednesday we lost Hulk Hogan and Chuck Mangione.
Hulk I’m not upset about. Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s I was a rasslin’ fan. Looked up to the Hulkster. Then he got his reality show and I absolutely turned on him and his ridiculous family. Then all the other stuff came out…
Chuck…I only know of him from King of the Hill. I know I know!
Thursday…I don’t remember. Seriously. Yesterday is blank. I fell asleep around 8 PM and woke up at 11 PM and stayed up till 4 PM today.
Edit: WE WENT SWIMMING! How the hell did I forget that? The old natatorium was remodeled and added a competition pool and what a called the old fogies heated pool. Erhmaghad the two hours I spent goofing around seeing how far I could get before needing air and mom exercising. Gah it was nice! Till she later fell asleep in her chair and now her hip is hurting bad. 🤦♂️
Prior to the remodel it had not changed since it opened in 1974. Since the remodel a lot of school competitions have been held there.
Which brings me to Friday…today.
I spent almost three hours (with several air conditioning/water breaks) fixing up Rose’s grave.

After a big lunch I crashed hard for four hours.
Now I’m awake again.
Cooked a late salmon and asparagus dinner
Cleaned up the kitchen, about to unload then reload the dryer.
