Im trying to prepare for a trip on Thursday to Yellowstone but my kids make it HARD.

So far ive made 36 sausage patties ( I likely have 24 left.. maybe)

24 egg patties.

I am making Breakfast sandwitches, I had enough to make 48 breakfast patties... but my kids are asses and eating it.

3 loaves of banana apple bread. Im down one. It was great. I actually used country crock ( not butter) and it turned out good. So yay.

3 loaves of apple fritter bread ( baking)

1 gallon of trail mix... I bought yogurt raisins, chocolate raisins, m&ms and had all the mixed nuts and regular raisins so there are two containers, Ill bring one and leave the other, OR i was thinking of making a nut and cereal bar. So I would mix it with rice crispies and honey nut cherios and bind with either peanut butter or honey and brown sugar to make a bar. But they never hold up long term, They have to be kept cold. I cant get them to be solid once they warm up.

I have a double batch of cookies in the fridge waiting for the oven.

We sliced up two roasts and got it marinating to make jerky.
I also bought some snacks that I dont normally and locked them in the room against the kids. Donset help for Tony because he LOVES snacks too.

We got pop toarts. junky cereal, crackers and cheese, cheese its, gogurts, sandwich stuff applesauce cups and chips. If I thought it would survive in my car till Thurs, I would pack it there, But I think they would die. It gets 100 out, so the car is SO hot.

I need to pack up my skincare shit, my vitamins, my clothes, my crafty stuff, its tour de fleece and ill bring my spinning wheel and probably a yarny craft because i drive.
We turned the car internet on so the kids dont blow their data in a single day.

Figure out how to pack said food. I want to avoid eating fast food multiple times per day. I mean once here or there is ok. So im trying to figure out dinners that will fill up 2 huge boys and a bird girl plus the husband and I that we can do in a hotel with little to no stuff lmao... Sandwiches wont cut it.

I thought about doing like spaghetti or something. The Lodge we are staying at has a restaurant. So wont have breakfast, and the food ranges from 18-30 a plate. Yuck. T says its fine. I HATE that though. :/ And the town is SO tiny there arent food options other then some other expensive cafes. Looking into nearby cities too...  But frankly we are looking at the ass end of Montana, there isnt much lmao!
