So after my last entry I took the car in and explained how (in my limited sphere of automotive knowledge) that my car was going through gas like water; my mpg was sucking.
They performed a diagnostic which I paid 220 for, and said it was my spark plugs and serpentine belt.
(Mom) helped me cover those and paid 513.
Drove off that day and my gas was still flying out of my tank.
Three days go by and I took it in today and explained to them how it can’t be a faulty sensor because otherwise I’d smell fuel, and fast forward to now, they’re keeping it til Monday because -…that’s one too many becauses up there.
They don’t open on Sundays I guess, yep, the pious trustworthy mechanics don’t work upon the Sabbath…so they’re keeping it til Monday when hopefully in their words, their lead tech will figure out what’s wrong with it.
Ahem
Hey me?
Yes, me?
What’s it like being the example and real life illustration for Murphy’s Law?
Hey you know what, mom said that’s victim thinking and that it’s not becoming on men and that if I keep thinking like that I’ll just turn into a bitter crazy old man like dad, haha.
So you know what, me? Even when it seems, insurmountably so, that the world and life is against me, I just gotta remember “Hey at least I’m not a starving orphan rooting for food in a landfill in the philippines!” So I MAY be out near 2k-something dollars in two months but HEY, “Just part of owning a car and having that responsibility.”
How’re YOU doing though.
The fuck? How do you THINK I’M D
Not you, Dick B. Rude, I meant THEM.
