Privacy, Part One in Site Updates

It's the first half of a major update! You can now change your privacy level in books. I still need to implement Friends Only (that's a bit more involved since you need to be able to add your friends to a list), but what I do have is this:
Public: as it is now. Everybody sees everything.
Members Only: You have to be logged in to see an entry. So search engines won't index it. Also, entries won't show up on the main page.
Private: Nobody but you sees it.
Since this is brand spanking new, please don't write down your deepest darkest secrets and mark it as Private. I always like to give people a couple of days to test it out, especially with something like this. And remember, it's at the book level, so changes to the book should affect all of your entries.
Any of you who would like to tag-team with your friends on this one and do a little testing, it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hmm, Changing my books to members only has stopped it appearing in latest entries list- not sure that's supposed to happen?

Hm, not sure I like that, I don't want people not part of the site to see certain books preferably but I don't want them not showing up on the main page at all. Guess I'll change them back for now.

OD has a members only option and entries still come up on the main page, you just can't see them on the main page when logged out. How are you supposed to find new people to read when the people who only want to be seen by members of the site, can't actually be easily found by other members of the site? The only way you'd be able to find members only books is if the user just happened to commented on your prosebook. And then they'd have to already have you bookmarked or be a friend, or have commented on one of your public books? There needs to be privacy from the rest of the internet and separately, privacy from the rest of the site.
Hopefully this'll change when the more complex privacy options are available though?
Something to consider anyways!

I don't know if it's a feature (not too familiar with the layout yet) but in the future can we see who bookmarked us?
I found a few people on here that were on my OD so I was wondering if it would show up that I added them to my bookmarks. Also it would be helpful to know that if someone bookmarked us we can give them total or partial access (or none at all if we don't know them)
