Welcome, welcome new people!
Just wanted to say a quick hello and let everyone know that I'm getting pretty close to pushing out the first major phase of book privacy features. It was a little easier to feel things were private when there was only 25 of us here; now that we're at, what, 545? Well, I understand wanting to be able to pull over the shower curtain.
For simplicity, I'm implementing privacy at the book level. There are less issues to deal with if you make the privacy level of a book the same throughout. It kind of makes sense you would write the same type of things in the same book. Maybe your Family book is friends only, your Surveys book is Members Only, and Youtube Videos I Enjoy is a public book. :)
Also on the to-do list is an entry manager so you can easily shuffle entries between books as you see fit. Anyway, I'm pretty excited to get this stuff I've been working on finished. It's been the most asked about item on my to-do list.

I was hoping it would be by books because most of my stuff I'm fine with having public, but there are certain things I don't want the world to know. Yes, I like eating Cheerios out of the box while watching Captain Caveman, but not everyone needs to know that.

Thanks for the site, and the timing is great for us OD refugees. It works quite well on a mobile as well - very handy. I hope the privacy "books" can come along soon as I am a bit wary about posting particular things.

I think everyone has come to the same conclusion - OD is on it's last breath and could croak at any minute. All of us are trying to download our diaries and moving over here where we at least know there's a PERSON that CARES. :)
