It's been an interesting couple months with the twinlets. We've done a lot, and often times seems like nothing at all. I've taken them to the zoo, the aquarium, a water park, the pool multiple times, bowling, putt-putt, and all kinds of other things.

They've learned about quite a few things as well... caring for sick animals, animals dying, prostitution (lol), the history of Fort Chaffee, and other stuff I can't recall at the moment. They ask a lot of questions and I try my best to answer honestly and in such a way they understand the answer and don't just blow me off. They've gotten to experience a lot as well. They've gotten over their fear of snakes, loved watching my snakes eat, helped feed a 2 week old kitten, and watched a wild caught Timber Rattlesnake eat. They've also gotten a TON better at learning to swim. Yesterday was our last day at the pool (we've only gone a handful of times) and they both finally mastered floating for a couple minutes on their own, as well as going down the slide and swimming either to the side of the pool or swimming to me. This is a HUGE improvement to them having me catch them the moment they hit the water. My sinuses really appreciate them being brave and swimming :)

Today, their mom is in the hospital having their baby brother, so our time is limited. Either today or tomorrow will be my last day with them... even if their parents wanted me to watch them more, they start school Monday... They are super excited, and I am too! It's going to be really weird, though... not having to moderate two feisty 8 year olds. The animals won't know what to do with themselves either... the twins always have to have an animal near them... I'm sure it's getting on the cats' & dogs' nerves, but they are good sports about it.

Onto new things, I suppose. Change is good, right?
