For the one who set has this day, and given me this mourning. For the one who wiped my tears away, when they came without fair warning. For the one who taught me pain, and has shown I must accept it. For the one who’s shown me happiness, in this trial we are all tested. For the one who’s shown me faith, and given the gift of light. To give me juxtaposition, to see the darkness of the night. For the shadows over my soul, in which my self has cast. For knowing I can pierce the veil, and knowing this darkness will pass. To know there shall be a sun tomorrow, and to know the shadows otherwise cannot live, the light is the only thing on earth that gives life to the darkness. Otherwise it would not exist. For the one whom my heart is breaking, and for the one I shed this tear. I’m given this life you’ve laid before me which I still find so unclear. For the one who gives me the knowledge, to know this pain will cease, and the one who holds me in his arms as I make my way to peace
