Dentist. in Since OD is shutting down....

I had another night of not being able to fall asleep or stay asleep. My back was hurting and I knew I had to be up early and I was worried that her appointment was going to run us late and she wouldn’t get to go on her field trip. It ended up only taking about 30 minutes. She has to do a physical and then surgery next Thursday.

She has to get several crowns and now I have to figure out how I’m going to word all of this to avoid him making me out to be a bad Mom. The dentist told me this is very common for her age and they do this surgery everyday. I’m going to give myself a couple of days before I text the girlfriend. I’d like to see if they want to come and then maybe be there when it’s over and they could take her for the day or something. I know I’m not trying to sit there with them the whole time because that would be super uncomfortable so I’d like to meet them there and then possibly go.

By now, who knows what’s going on with them. I haven’t heard anything in like a week and he hasn’t even tried to call our daughter. I’ve asked her if she wants to call him where she just shakes her head no. I know she wants him to make that effort. I am just so pissed that he’s never tried to be a Dad and won’t make the effort at all but threatens me with court. It just doesn’t make sense.
