I talked to my son yesterday and he told me he has covid 19 and the only place he has been is here ;ast week. And before he came I told him hubby had the sniffles and he thought it wouldn’t be a big deal. But as it turns out hubby has covid also which means I most likly have it too. I need to get one of those self tests so I will be calling my pharmacy to get some delivered to me hopefully today or Monday. So hubby is going to phone his work and tell the after hours person he isn’t feeling well and take a sick day. And on Monday or Tuesday he will be phoning his boss to tell him he has covid. So it looks like hubby will be here for a week.
I am going to just assume that I have covid also just because he lives with me .
I read something about three years ago where it said that everyone in the world will get covid at some point and I didn’t believe them. Well, now I need to say I am sorry for douting them.
The thing with hubby is that he doesn’t feel sick and he can’t understand why he has covid. Me on the other hand has a cold and I think that is why I have covid. And the symptoms for covid is different for everyone so it’s not like getting a cold or flu.

Onto something else…

So since hubby is going to be here we are not going anywhere and I am not sure what I will get done or not done but it’s not a big deal either way.
And I am not sure what we will have for dinner but it will be something and I know I won’t be eating much.

Onto something else…

I need to stop here…
Do enjoy your day…
Be Kind, Be Calm, Be Safe and Behave.

Well I do have company so it should be fun...But all joking aside I think we will recover nicely.
Thanks for your concern.

mark and I had it before christmas.... mark felt pretty bad and ended up with double pneumonia. he was in hospital for 5 days... nothing life threatening but still... I only had a mild headache.

Jodie theKat ⋅ February 11, 2023

Since then have both of you been feeling "normal" because they say covid can linger for years.

theKat Jodie ⋅ February 11, 2023

both of us are totally fine now so relax

Jodie theKat ⋅ February 11, 2023

Okay because I feel like I am going to get worse...But I do know I will feel worse before I feel better.

I know more and more people who are asymptomatic with Covid, or they have a very mild case. My boss was right two years ago when he said eventually it would be like the flu or a cold. The big thing though, is that you still have to isolate for a little while and that can be very disruptive to lives. Hope you all get over it soon and you don't start feeling any worse.

I think I am on the mend...My cold symptoms seems to be getting better and hubby doesn't have any.

toddslife February 11, 2023

wow so sorry

Jodie toddslife ⋅ February 11, 2023

it's okay...I knew I would get it eventually...but it's not as bad as three years ago.

Heard decades ago that the common cold is a COVID virus so the person is right. Everyone will get a covid virus at one time or another. Doctor also told my mother that everyone will get cancer if they live long enough. Some type of cancer. I've had a basil cell removed from my nose. If you get a vaccine you can still get what they are supposedly preventing. I know several people who had shingles, got the vaccine then got shingles again. Said the shingles after the vaccine was worse than before they got that jab. And it is now being proven that those with the vaccine are carriers of the virus. So to me that says basically it doesn't matter if you get the jab or not if you get it is simply what your body decides to do.

If you think about all the vaccines you have gotten in your life time I am not sure that they really protect you from getting the disease or virus or whatever...I am pretty sure we have all the anti bodies to get or not get these things.

I got a various of small pox when I got that vaccination. I had measles twice. But then I think there are 3 types of measles. Had the chicken pox. At this time they require our children to get over 52 vaccinations to go to school. Do we even really know what putting that many things into a small Childs body does to them. Are we really protecting them or are we simply weakening their immunize system? In the modern society I would prefer not to take anything that a drug company produces because we really have no idea what they have put into the shots and pills. As I get older I get less trustful of our governments and pharmaceutical companies.

The only thing I remeber getting as a child was chicken pox....
