I don’t think that womb rental is a violation of the NAP. So, it’s not evil. But it is a class of vague human rights violations.
An analogy might be the discovery of a totally secluded island population, and the subsequent discovery that the people suffered from a disease with a simple cure. To not cure their disease is not exactly evil. But, it’s pretty much the biggest asshole move that can be made without crossing the line to evil.
Today, children are not given human rights in the law. That is obvious, as they can be treated like objects; property; bargaining chips; and vessels of perverted ideology without a second thought. One can buy a child just as surely as one could have bought a slave hundreds of years ago. It’s equally obvious that this will not be the case in the future. In the future, human rights will be extended to children. And in that future, children will have the right to their biological parents.
The ideologues who love to indoctrinate children are the equivalent of the slave owning south in the last days of the civil war. They will lose, but they will never believe that they were wrong.
