So, since my only conviction was more than ten years ago, I’m only looking at probation if he can’t get it dismissed. Sweet. Huge weight off my shoulders.
However, it was embarrassing walking into the court room and seeing my old lawyer.

That's good news! The legal system is more forgiving these days than you'd think (they can't take extra work on themselves anyway) Please take caution from now on!
