Two days ago: 101.6F. Might have been higher, but I didn’t even think to check until I was chatting with wife and she mentioned she and her son were melting. I just assumed I was lethargic and had DOMS from deadlift day. Nope. Body aches, and I was melting. Spent most of the day in bed.

Yesterday: 100.6F. Should have called out. But, this is Murica. Three other people were sick, too. Go figure. Lethargic, cold, difficulty thinking.

Today: 97.6F. Dizzy, cold, but at least my energy got better as the day went on.

I really miss having a female cohabitant. I didn’t even think to check my temperature. I’m usually good about that shit.

It’s not a male thing. It’s when someone sees you from the outside, they’ll think of stuff you wouldn’t.

I’ve spent enough time alone that it’s less missing being taken care of, and more resigned that I’m to suffer in solitude. The “whelp, this is my life now.”

I really want to hit the gym. Less want-want, more, knowing the action of doing so will make me feel less weak. The fever has passed, but my body hasn’t reached homeostasis yet. Though, I’d swear sometimes activity is good for you.
