New for us, a handmade door on our walk last weekend. I wanted to check out the blue house with the two gorgeous, espaliered trees out front which is about a block away.

That house is empty, and the trees now look forlorn. It is selling for $1,725,000.00. Built in 1961. This is the first time it has been sold since it was built.

Here is a link to pictures of the interior. I like the green bedroom. Photos Here

First time it is cool enough in a few months to put on something with sleeves when I got up.

They are still working on the exterior of my place. They painted my dryer vent shut I discovered yesterday. No comment. La la la la.

Shots today, bivalent booster and flu. I hope I can sleep tonight. People are reporting a little stronger reaction than to the last two boosters. I scheduled them after my last class of the week, so I had time to recover.

Think no hives my way, okay? Per the pharmacist’s suggestion a few shots back, I am taking a Benadryl just before.

I hope if you are in the path, or have been in the path of Ian, you are doing well. What a crazy time we live in.

I love those front doors! Are those scenes of the local waterscape? Just gorgeous. I found the interiors of the other house so interesting. The phrase that popped into my head was "old money". The interior looked more continental. While all of it is interesting and would be fun to peruse at leisure, I can't imaging dusting it all. I would prefer a more modern decor that lets the views shine. Loved seeing, thanks.

We were trying to decipher the symbols on the front doors. Definitely PNW but your guess is as good as ours. I will see if I can find out more. I didn’t think about dusting but I did think about keeping the floors in decent shape…
