I love waking up in the middle of the night and seeing both my cats snuggled up at the foot of my bed, usually between my legs, as I tend to sleep on my back. During the day, they chase each other, pounce, and do their own thing. They might follow each other, but they tend to nap in separate spots. It's become a daily game of Find The Kitties when I come home, as they're in a different spot every day.
So the only time I see them near each other is at night. And that they're near me, well. We all need that semi-unconscious validation of love. That's why humans sleep together.

i wish my cats would snuggle. the best i get is the one cat snuggles with the dog in the sun (sunbath!!!) two of them snuggle with me or my step son but not at the same time.

Oh man, Filly does this thing where she "nurses" from one of my soft faux fur blankets, nuzzling and massaging it while she purrs. She'll do it for hours, and only if I'm in bed too. It's become a comfort to wake up to her, even if it's because she's digging her claws into me enthusiastically.

my cat does that too sometimes! She gets this look on her face like she NEEDS it until she can find the right spot to nurse on. She will do it for about 15 minutes, and then walk away looking satisfied. lol
