Day 78 and my last here in Torridaussity Two

Today I’m leaving the rehab center and going to live with my parents until I am strong enough to go up the 20 stairs at my apartment. I’m going home. I’m so excited. It’s almost unreal to me. I’m off oxygen for most of the time, but need it when doing some of pt and sleeping. I can walk around 100 feet without a walker or support or oxygen which doesn’t sound like much, but 2 weeks ago I could barely walk with a walker and oxygen 40 feet. I showered without being watched/helped for the first time today. My feeding tube whole is healing well. I’m in pretty good shape for the shape I’m in. Please continue your prayers as my lungs are still weak and I still have a long way to go to get back to normal life.

Hooray! So happy for you. Years ago when my lungs were bad I used to sing in the car. I am sure it helped.
