I’m officially going to be broadening the usage of this term. From now on, whenever I hear one generation tease a younger generation, I’m going to say “Okay, boomer.” Because it’s the same damn shit.

What the hell is a millennial? What the hell is generation z? I don’t know, but the older one is making fun of the younger one. Meaning, YOU’RE JUST LIKE THE BOOMERS YOU WERE MAKING FUN OF.

:: laughs ::

Thankfully(?), I’ve been saying “kids these days” since I was sixteen, way back in the nineteen hundreds. :: cracks elbow ::

Indeed! This is compounded by an accelerated culture cycle. Wasn't it a thing a few decades ago that it took longer for culture to spread around the world? So, in the 90's there were still places were disco was raging?

Concurrently, with us all being interconnected, accents are fading. As it requires decades of isolation for an accent to develop.
