Sleep continues to be excelsior. Still low carb six days a week. (20c or less). Getting easier and easier. Any sugar desires mostly correlate with general hunger. As for hunger itself… Gosh, I remember how bad my nighttime cravings were. I’m still “I cooouuuld go for some chocolate, but eh.”

Going to bed around 10, sometimes at 9pm. I know, crazy. Sleeping the night, about seven hours. Zero grogginess when I wake up, though ZMA might be a factor. I wake up between 4 and 6 and… just kind of get up without any qualms.

I forget who recommended it, but I’ve been slowly reading Potatoes Not Prozac. Whether I’m “sugar sensitive” or not, it’s an interesting read so far.

I can resist sugar, sure. But if you see a plate of hot cookies, come ON, who DOESN’T to expose that to a mucus membrane full of nerve endings.

You know.

Your tongue.

Mmmm.

My ability to moderate, well, varies. I recall Candi saying how her parents didn’t keep junk food in the house because they were afraid they’d eat it all. I felt it kind of silly. I am fully capable of portioning 12 cheezy poofs and eating just those 12 cheesy poofs.

Other junk food… I’m not sure. I can restrict myself to one cup of milk, but ugh, it feels like torture because my body LOVES LACTOSE. Tastes sooo good. It’s almost easier to just go without completely in the long short-term. Not that milk is junk food. But. Whatever. Most of you get me.

That question was crazy. Who says no to a cookie?

The real question is, baked or dough?

I'm not versed enough in the Cookie Community™ to entirely know what the difference is?

Cookie after it’s been baked, or raw cookie dough.

Gordon Ramsey style. I'LL YELL IF IT'S RAWWWWWWWWWWW.

(Underdone is fine. Sure, I'll lick a wooden spoon. But mmmm. I do love moist, warm cookies.)

No way. I can't have chips in the house.
We're all equipped with a finite quantity of will power. I don't want to waste it resisting chips. Got stuff to do, you know

Rationing can also lead to things expiring. Nothing sadder than reaching for a bag that's almost empty, but has enough to fill a craving. Only to discover...

Sigh.

As the expression goes: Waste or Waist.
