So, I’ve been trying to be more friendly at work. Some of the staff are really nice, so I’d like to give it back. Guy asked me for something, so I said, “You got it, comrade.”
Comrade, as it’s humorous, gender-neutral, and can’t be construed as flirting.
So, I get him what he needs, and he says, “Thanks, sexy thing.”
Okay, I know how it sounds on paper/screen, but it made me laugh.
Oh, that’s all. No big lesson or moral today. Smiles ARE possible amidst the melancholy!
