Christmas is over in Pridesafiordilabbra

Best Christmas in years. No big crowds just 5 of us Christmas eve. Christmas morning again just 5 of us. My brother left after breakfast he wanted to be at his house incase he lost power. I missed lunch as mom had it early and I went back to sleep waking up at 1230 thinking lunch would be at 1 like usual. Unfortunately they ate at 12.

I don’t have my usual introvert Christmas hangover where I need a few days to decompress. We went from 30 people Christmas eve to just 5 of us this year. It’s not so much the people bit all the different conversations and trying to listen fries my head. But there are also family I don’t care to see. And even when I say hello they don’t say a word to me.

Unfortunately my mom was depressed. She grew up in a big family. And she loves Christmas and having everyone at the house Christmas eve. Giving presents to all the kids, making a huge dinner for 30 people.
