  1. Single-issue extremists falling down the rabbit hole of getting more and more repellent allies as they look for anyone who will back them up, it would be hilarious if it wasn’t so deleterious to society and humanity.

  2. I just want to open the first tavern on a space station so we can call it “The Space Bar”.

  3. Nicolas Cage ruined the idea of bad-good almost as much as Asylum Films did. Once they realized pretending to be in on the joke of badness was a viable excuse to try even less, the game was given up entirely.

  4. Today I realized: Super Mario’s a doctor, a plumber, has been involved with pizza & worked in a number of random fields that almost perfectly line up with the flimsy pretenses behind the “plots” to pornos back in the pre-internet age when they still had a flimsy pretense of plot.

  5. Of all the cardinal questions, “how” has always interested me the least, plot has always interested me the least. “Who” and “Why” have always been my champions, followed closely by “Where”. Character and theme. People and ideas. Plot for me is just a peg to hang them on.

  6. The movie that was number one on your twenty-first birthday is a really easy way to narrow down your birth-date for Russian facebook scammers looking to phish your details.

  7. Singing LET THE BODICE HIT THE FLOOR, LET THE BODICE HIT THE FLOOR, LET THE BODICE HIT THE FLOOR is probably not the best pick-up line at the Ren Faire.

  8. The Titanic sink all the way to the bottom of the ocean? That’s unfathomable.
