Slayer isn’t easy to get into. (Seriously. I get it. Metallica is easier to get into.)

But once you get into Slayer, they will scream on your behalf, getting out all the rage you feel. Speaking for myself, I sometimes close my eyes, quietly smile, and bob my head. And probably unconsciously tap a foot or two.

PS: I still have the habit of double-spacing at the end of sentences, as I learned to type on a typewriter. I know it is not required anymore, but I still do it.

PPS: For anyone that doesn’t know, PS stands for postscript, and naturally PPS stands for post-postscript.

Oh, Slayer. "I keep the bible in a pool of blood so that none of its lies can affect me"!

I KNOW THIS SONG. Dang it. I can hear it. And now I have to check the title. I'm more versed in Metallica.

NEW FAITH. I frakking LOVE THAT SONG.

Oh, my sweet goodness. And now Pandora is playing "Disciple". What poetic timing. <3

My ex, who has since passed away, was a big metal head. I saw Slayer and Overkill and GWAR among others with him back in my twenties. It used to sound like noise, but now when Alexa plays one of his bands, it makes me smile.

Sense associations are like that.
