  1. Humans, with our pinprick lifespans, have no greater blessing than doubt. Doubt allows us to change, to adapt, to endure, to empathize beyond our own experience, in other words, to love. Certainty stagnates at best, faith makes bigots worse yet. In doubt, however, there is hope.

  2. Bitten by both fungi and algae, under the light of a full moon, she became a slavering lichenthrope.

  3. A really pedantic short-form improv show called TO WHOM DOES THE LINE BELONG?

  4. Mashing up Eminem with the Garfield and Friends theme song would create the platonic ideal of goofy cultural detritus, the line “we’re ready to party, we’re ready, we hope you brought lots of MOM’S SPAGHETTI”.

  5. The terrible truth is a plurality of Americans ARE fascists who want brown people in death camps & women pregnant in the kitchen. Everyone else united in compromise against them CAN beat them but without that broad coalition, they’ll win. Every single awful time. That’s America.

  6. The comfort of self-selected echo chambers where we are all the choir, preaching to and for ourselves, can make us feel like nearly everyone believes what we believe, all but a few fringe cranks. This is not the world. Our bubbles are not the world. Sadly.

  7. THE CRAFT except instead of about magic, it’s actually about arts and crafts.

  8. The next time you see someone playing Solitaire yell “WELL TWO CAN PLAY AT THAT GAME!” but then just leave.
