Day 2 continued in Molding Journal

Tonight's workout was lackluster. I could not get into a rythem and everything felt forced. I got in my cardio and some weight lifting but it wasn't the intensity I wanted.

On a side note I found out I wasn't even considered for a business trip. My boss selected a new guy who has less than 6 months with the company and a guy I trained to fly out to Vegas for a month to work. I'm pretty sure I didn't even get considered because my boss probably thinks that I'm to fat to fly. So that should have given me more motivation for tonight's work out but it didn't it just weighed on my mind.

The other issue weighing on my mind is my wife. After last night's exercise session in our basement, she questioned what I was doing down stairs. When I explained to her I was working out she wanted to join me. My issue is that this is for me and my way. I know she won't like the music I listen to when I work out (hardcore metal think: salt the wound and hatebreed.) The other thing is I do a continuous circuit training and part of that has meant making up exercises on the fly. I feel bad but she has a gym membership and when we go together all she wants to do is walk on the treadmill and I prefer to avoid the treadmill (it bothers my knees).

Blah allways tomorrow's workout.
