I need to take control of my health.
I need to remember you can’t just BE healthy. It’s work, just like everything else worth working for. Here are some ideas for how to regain control over my health…
Things I’ve Done…
1. I signed up for a weekly virtual ballet class - helps increase movement
2. I have arranged for a weekly walk with a friend - helps increase movement
Things I Want to Put In Place…
1. Change drinking habits
- Limit the number of beers consumed per day. 1-2 on weekdays, 2-3 on weekends. Choose wine when given the chance, but only 1 large glass.
2. Make better food choices
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Stop skipping meals and gorging later.
- Stand my ground when ordering out. Boyfriend will want to order lots of extras… he is allowed to do so, but I will not eat them. It’s all up to him.
- Switch to salads more regularly
- Make sure to eat more fruits and vegetables
3. HYDRATE
