Four years in A Day in the Life of Me

Its been four years today.... Hard to believe time has gone by so quick…texting with mom this afternoon, checking in without reminding her, she had gotten a call last night to work this morning (laundry) and then while she was at work, they asked if she would be willing to cover a shift tonight on the cleaning end…
Not really something they should be asking her to do, but at least on today of all days, it will keep her occupied and not sitting at home thinking.

We also had our first snow fall here today… was supposed to be light flurries… almost 5 cm of snowfall later....there has been so many freaking car accidents here today. Like, ppl ya know the weather is coming, why are you not more prepared. It happens every freaking year....
1 accident - 9 car pile up and BOTH bridges were also shut AT THE SAME TIME due to collisions on them.
A friend was stuck in the center of one of them. Said the accident missed him by mere inches.
and in then next couple of days, its gonna go back up to double digits (Celsius for any Americana’s reading along).
Mother natures is really and truly off her meds.....

hadn’t realized it had been so long since I wrote. Or for that matter even logged in! I had SO many entries to catch up on of my regulars, and by the time i finished reading, I didn’t have it in me to write a post, so here I am tonight, filling you in on the almost 2 months of me.

There has been nothing going on.... lol

Kittens are doing great, and getting bigger by the bloody day, waiting on the foster agency to book their fixing appts with the local SPCA hospital. Hoping she gets back to me soon on it cause I want to book my vaca around it but it has to be in the next 2 weeks.
Keira is becoming a daddy’s girl, and has discovered the joy of D’s shoulder. Rhain is a bit more of a mommas sook, he’s usually to be found out on the daybed with me when they are not playing, or hiding if Nad’s or someone is over. Though neither of them as much a sook as Fe ever was.
They are both way more vocal then Fe was, and I forgot how much kittens can play lol

Work - we are opened an extra hour a day now, so 10-7, I’m clocking 38-40 hrs a week, mostly because there is only me, boss lady, Eric and Ash.
We sent Tams to one of our other locations as soon as they had the ok for a 3rd person so that she would have more then 5-10 hrs a week, so technically all of my stores staff is back to work, and we got Ash back just in the nick of time, because they decided here 2 weeks ago to let anyone who was still on furlough go.
I still wonder what the hell i am doing working in retail. I do wish some days I could just win the lotto and quit.
I have no other real job prospects. So I am kinda stuck. and no way to be able to afford to go back to school to do anything, nor do I even know what I would want to do at this point.
Craft sales have been pretty much 0 except for one sale I did back in the end of sept start of Oct, a lady approached me on my fb page and asked if I had or could make more Nightmare before Christmas related items, so I whipped up some “people” decorations and she got those and one of the wreaths, but that’s been pretty much it.

Guess that’s it really....

We always have loads of accidents every time it snows as well, as ours is nothing compared to yours! I always imagine Canadians are laughing at us for panicking over a few flakes of snow every single year.

Sending hugs for the four year anniversary.

I won't lie, I do laugh, but mostly cause my boss is also from the UK so she doesn't help lol
I always worry about the ones I know over there driving on your highway, cause that seems to be your most prone spot for accidents.

thanks, sending them right back at you for yours.
