change of boxes in Second 1st

This weekend was great with work. I’m not being sarcastic, honest. We were able to “hit number and go home” each day. Now… we have next weekend off. My plans had been wiped away with the trip to NC to investigate Rocky’s heritage. I still have to work on that but it’s a bit on the back burner now.

Saturday morning, on the display in my car, CHNG OIL appeared. It’s the first time EVER that a car has told me I’m late for a change. The Walmart Auto Care is not open here still.... so… I had to find a local place. Took all of 20 mins when I got there and the guy was so nice. Just may keep going there even if WM opens back up.

I had 4 orders to ship over the weekend.... and all of them are those awkward items.... not big enough for a box but too big for a package so you have to get a box and cut it to fit. Got them together yesterday when I got home but didn’t have the boxes to start packing :(. I’d spent some time looking up an alternative. I really want to give

a go. Can’t seem to find any in my area though. I’d ordered it for pick up at Target but got a message this morning saying they were out of stock. Go figure.

So I went to WalMart to buy a bunch of boxes to destroy. Once I’m done packaging things I’ll take those to post.

I’ve got 2 tentative meets this afternoon. I sure wish people could give me better times than ” I get off work at 5” .... but I guess that will have to do for now. I’ll get those items out when I get back from post.

Rocky was supposed to work that “mandatory OT” he had told me about like 3 weeks ago.... “until September” but I asked this morning and he said no..... he’s sleeping.... whatever....

I got my 5 items listed for today because my dumb ass got up at 2:30.... WHY!?!

Moving on.... check my pulse… time to make boxes that fit.

12:15
Rocky’s in the shower now. I was going to drop off the post after the 11am Justin’s but Rocky got up and when I asked him what he wanted to do today he said that he would like to get some new shoes and he knows I need some.

I finished packing the items and did Justin’s and patiently waited then suddenly he had to go outside. i had no idea why till he came in to ask me to come help him. He needed me to hold my radio. He was swapping out that part we got last week. I’m pretty happy with the end result. We had correctly identified the problem and fixed it ourselves. The part new would have been $84 + labor had I gotten our car guy to put it in. Used and pulled ourselves even when you add $20 in gas (go high or don’t count it at all) it’s about $35 so we straight saved a good $75 easy WOOT.... AND most importantly it works now :)

However, now Rocky decides he needs a shower before we go to the shipping place and to get lunch… then to get shoes…

Hope that doesn’t take all afternoon....
