So I have officially chunked up the first $750 to the lawyer, my boss signed as my witness and we are off on the great adventure we call Divorce.
So I managed to get my ex to give him his work info. He was skirting around the issue of giving me his home address. He told me could I please contact Child Support so that he can attempt to get out of debt. Um, dude, you owe over $10k at this point. he doesnt' understand that picking up the monthly payment you are suppose to be already paying, doesnt' make your debt go away. That woudl require you paying out the regular monthly payment, PLUS extra. So of course I contacted Child Support. Kids cost, I need the extra income. they confirmed his working there and sent a garnisment paper.
oh and as for where he's working and where he moved too...he's back here in town. 5 minutes away. Has he asked to see his son? Nope. Not once. See how worried he is about beign a dad?
so I gave the lawyer his work info and he said they'd serve him at work. problem is, he works for a contractor. The office is at one place, but they send the workers to different refineries around the area. which means unless the marshall goes into the actual plant and tracks the ex down...idk how he'll get these papers. so the lawyer says then we'd get the curator involved, he'd put an add in the paper, send papers to his last known address. Problems with that? Of course it'll cost me more money, but the last address they have for him was when he and I lived together...6 YEARS AGO! he hasnt' lived at that address forever.
so after talking to the lawyer I'm really depressed and frustrated. so I take a chance and text him asking for his home address, stating the lawyer said it woudl be difficult to serve him at work. AND HE ACTUALLY GAVE ME A HOME ADDRESS! Thank you Lord. Hopefully this will make things easier. Idk.
Anyways, I have an appt with the lawyer Monday afternoon, so I'll have this info to give him as well.
In other news, I have a date today. This guy I've been talking to for about a month. He's 42, owns his own company, been divorced, no kids, christian. We seem to have a lot in common... but who knows. Me and men seem to go together like fire and gasoline..it just never turns out well.
kiddo's doing great. he's in a no haircut phase, so that his hair can "swish" when he moves. he's looking a little to much like justin beiber for me lol I told him he can have till the end of school, but by summer it'll be too hot and we're cutting it. I have a feeling I'll have to tie him down to let the stylist cut it lol
nothing more really going on in life right now.
