On my drive home tonight, I was stopped at the tracks by a train coming through and there was a truck next to me. We were waiting to go up main street. The lights changed and a man decided to run across the street in front of me and the truck, I saw the man and did not move, the truck gassed it and started to go and I screamed in my car because I thought I was going to see the man get hit by the truck, at the last second the truck stopped. You never know what could happen in an instant, hug your loved ones tight and tell those you love, that they are loved. Love you, all my friends.

I live like a block from the LIRR and I see that all day it's like people assume the traffic sees them I'm always paranoid crossing at crosswalks because of turning cars

I used to have a job where I had to walk from my office to our court house and other businesses and I can't tell you how many times I saw people do stupid things or drivers do stupid things. I am paranoid as well.

I'm sorry I read this on my phone and didn't comment and thought I did!

Yes it sure can. Life is so fragile and we take it for granted. Our time here is so limited.

It's okay I know I don't always get to comment on everyone's entries although I do read them all. I am trying each day not to take anything for granted.
