I told the husband not to write about buying/closing a house on x date. Or even talk about the house. Lets just curse it lol.
so the other shoe dropped. The seller wasnt supposed to list the house for 90 days after buying it. Well they flipped it and listed it on day 87 and we offered on 89. Do you see that. ONE day. ONE fucking day.

So it throws a wrench. We had to resubmit our offer to the buyer, They have to re counter, then we have to resign all the paperwork. ALL of it. We got out of underwriting yesterday, Loan is secured, housing insurance bought. And we have to wait an extra week to close unless our loan officer can talk them into not being such ugh. I need to stop being so mad about it.

Nothing we can do...... But yeah im frustrated. Even if we have to wait a week. Its not a huge thing in the big scheme. But its one more week with my parents. under their rules… And that is frustrating.

Anyway i got photos of our kitten to be. We need to name him. A friend who raises angoras also raises pacas and has 5 hundred barn cats. Ok not really but at least 40. She has kittens regularly and i asked if maybe she had a 4 ish week old litter that was friendly and young enough to take from a barn cat mama and be made a family pet. Wheres her barn cats are NOT friendly lol. Anyway she had an 8 week old, and hes always underfoot, always in the way. in your face. Shes taken to locking him in a rabbit cage to keep him out of peoples faces. Sooo perfect for a family with 5 kids lol. My kids are excited.

Anyway we need to name this stinker. he can come home once he finishes his antibiotics and we close. He has a bit of a cold. so they are treating him for it.

He is very cute and will be a beautiful cat ! Are you going to neuter him ?

ChainedChrysalis Jinn ⋅ August 03, 2020

Oh yes! As soon as he is over 2 or 3 lb minimum lol!!

Jinn ChainedChrysalis ⋅ August 03, 2020

He will be a good pet :-) but you might need to watch him around your rabbits .

The bunnies will be contained in their cages in the shed. We generally dont have much interaction between critters.

I say that because my neighbor’s cat caught and killed a full grown wild rabbit and left it for me on one of my deck chairs. My neighbors always let him roam :-( and he frequently kills birds to leave me. :-( but this time it was a poor bunny .

aww yeah Cats can be hunters. Im planning on keeping my velcro kitty in the house full time if i can. And the buns are locked in the shed outside. I used to have one that hunted squirrels larger then she was.
