I don’t think taking two months of my BC pills back to back with no placebo week was a very good idea. I can safely do 3 months back to back, but I’d never even done two month back to back, so wasn’t sure what to expect as far as how this period would go after two months back to back. It was the heaviest its been in ages (and it wasn’t even that heavy; its just usually super light - like barely there) and my mental/emotional game was all tanked. I legit almost had a breakdown one day after realizing that both the apartment underneath me and the apartment next to me are/were empty. It was about to be a “everyone is leaving me!” mental breakdown of epic proportions. Mind you, I didn’t even know either person/family, never hung out with them whatsoever. I wouldn’t be able to tell you their names. My mental game was just so bad. I’m sure the times of the world didn’t help either. And I love the quiet of empty apartments!! The impending breakdown made absolutely no logical sense. I salvaged the day by drinking wine on the clock.

I’m still working from home and probably will be for the forseeable future. Our office lease is up in July and since we’ve all proven ourselves capable of working from home, they are thinking about making this a permanent thing and saving the office rent :/ I have mixed feelings about it. I have completely adjusted to working from home and have made a routine that works for me, but I’m also allllllllll alone, and my coworkers made up a hefty amount of my daily social interactions. I think in the end, I’d prefer to stay working from home though.

Oh, I did get a new downstairs neighbor, btw. Still no “next to” neighbor.

No more Young Buck updates. I think he just really wants to go back home, and I had no idea how much of a “want” that was until after he got back. So, I respect that decision and hope it isn’t one he regrets.

TMI WARNING OF DOG BITE PICTURES

Guys! I got attacked by a dog two weeks ago! I had to go to the ER. Actally both my dog and I got attacked. Here at the apartment complex. A dog broke free from its yard restraint and ran directly over to me and my dog (mine was on a leash). She clamped her jaws down on my dog’s ear, my dog went into freeze response and howled to the heavens. Since my dog had absolutely no self-defense moves he could rely on and that dog’s owner was still trying to run up to catch her dog, I had to intervene with my hand and try to get that dog’s jaw off my dog’s ear. I got three bites on my thumb and one on the finger next to it. I ended up in the ER to get the wounds cleaned and closed, but I was able to get my dog’s ear cleaned without taking him to the emergency vet. I didn’t talk about it before because I was actually pretty traumatized by it (i’m a big dog lover!) and I wasn’t looking for unsolicited advice. I filed an animal control report and a report with the apartment complex. I had a witness who volunteered her info for both animal control and and the apartment complex. That dog wouldn’t have gotten off my dog if I hadn’t been able to intervene. Here’s some pics!

My ER bill for this would have been over $2,100 if I hadn’t had insurance! Crazy!!! My poor dog is missing a bit from his ear, but he healed really quickly and I had some leftover antibiotics from his surgery that I gave him in case of infection. I def didn’t post this on FB. I would have gotten so much unsolicited advice and freak out. I don’t need that. I filed the reports, its out of my hands now.
