Spacing in 2014

Hmm... still trying to figure out this thing. I keyed in an entry... just a few lines here and there. But the formatting didn't cooperate. When I typed it into the entry space, it looked the way I wanted, but then when I saved and posted it, it looked different.
Specifically, what was three lines when I typed it was posted as one line on the saved entry. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how I might fix it? Is it something simple I'm just overlooking?
