A woman marries a man expecting him to change, but doesn’t. A man marries a woman expecting she won’t change, and she does.—Those Unrealistic Expectation, they set us up for failure. Maybe that is the reason for so many divorces. We have watched too many Happily Ever After, Walt Disney Movies. (And of course the Hallmark Christmas Movies.)
What I have learned from my failed relationships, is no matter how well you think you know a person, you have no idea who they are until you live with them. That’s when the little things that drive you crazy surface and you want to trade them in for a newer model.
Here is from free advice that may be worth what you pay for it when you finally settle on your forever love, you will find that there is a new, improved model available. Think of it as buying a computer. By the time you get the computer set up, all the windows (1764 updates), your computer is already 6 months out of date. Or if you would rather, the New Car depreciation. As soon as you drive it off the lot, it’s lost $10,000 in value.
I am out here, it’s time to go wife shopping! Can I have that in a petite?
