I made a joke about how Colorado people cant drive in snow. Literally they shut down everything for 1 inch of snow. No school, husband was sent home from work early. And i was laughing because im not used to everyone coming home early. So i did some shopping and it was fast in outs. People were literally driving 10 mph everywhere. It is kinda funny because well… im not used to it.
Colorado people took offense. They say they are used to snow. Really? Cuz the lady at the gas station told me NO one will willingly leave the house here. Maybe up north. But not down here. Yeah its a bit chilly, 19 degrees. Its no 20 below. Yeah its snowing. There is an inch and a half lol. It will melt in 2 days anyway. sure its a bit slick. But not bad really. We slid a few times but not like.. uncontrolled. Because we know how to drive in snow. We also have good tires on. But lordy people took offense.
Yep thats why i dont make friends. People get insulted… I have such a hard time keeping my mouth shut all the time, sometimes it slips out. Shes all oh yeah we get ice. Im like yeah im used to that. A downpour on snow, then freezes, then downpours again. We learn to drive in it. Here they shut stores down and send people home. Its a huge difference in what you are used to. But im offensive i guess for pointing that out. Oh well. Im just.. Not always a nice person i guess.

At least the water is fixed.

We get plenty of snow here and nothing closes unless it’s a impassable blizzard People would think it was crazy if they did :-) You just learn to go slow. :-)

Right?! I learned to drive in winter. And drove on ice. People are so weird.
