Destroyed to Heaven in Poetry

I’ve witnessed my lives
As I paint corpses
On the canvas
Destroyed to heaven
To come back again
And live backward and forward
Linear time
Hides in your eyes
It’s the false perception of your mind

I’ve stared into everyone’s eyes
Reflecting all their lies
Passed on from
Generation to generation
And from life to life
It’s the prison we sell
Throwing taxes in
Their wishing well
And you wonder why
You live in hell

Destroy me to heaven
For I know you see
With Satan’s eyes
Your godly body
Will be your demise
Innocent blood you feed
To those preaching Holywood
In their television screen
I recognize the deception
And I can see through
All reflections

"I’ve stared into everyone’s eyes
Reflecting all their lies
Passed on from
Generation to generation
And from life to life..."

This hurts so much.

Yes, it is a sad truth, and unfortunately, the truth hurts.
