She's more dramatic than me in Current Events

So Karamjeet has been saying all week that she did not want to work today. I told her that I promised our regulars that we would have enough staff on this Sunday, they even approached her about it on Wednesday and she told them that she was going to be working today. So I had yesterday booked off and she called me to ask if I could work the opening shift. I had a babysitter situation in place so I said yes and I set my alarm for 4am. I walked in not even knowing who would be working and what and where. I only make the schedules but nobody works their scheduled shifts on Sunday because there is always a bitch or two that is “sick”.
So I did three peoples jobs before she walked in at 8am and I told her that I needed to go chase stock before the lunch rush. She then tells me that she was going to go home at noon. The store owed her hours or some shit like that and she didn’t even bother to get herself covered, in fact, she even cancelled a shift for no reason. I told her that it was an awful move to leave, we would not be okay. It was not okay to just leave. We still had to count inventory and I had absolutely no time in hell to do it all by myself. I had a babysitter waiting for me to come home. (My sister is finally having the baby) She does not work Sunday’s and she always seems to forget that my location actually makes bank! Her involvement with my scheduling is hurting the business. Every time that she tries to do something her way it bites everybody in the ass.
So there I was, running around the city getting stock because she botched the order as always. I was calling around to get staff to come in with no luck. She offered to count the inventory but I did not want that because she wants to lie to make our numbers look better. I told her that I don’t like fudging my numbers and she’s always like “this is the only tool that we have to keep our bosses off our backs! We will find somebody to blame if they get mad.” While I was gone she took it upon herself to start it. She ignored every customer, employee and situation just to avoid working the floor. My employees were pissed. The entire store is an absolute disaster and she left a trail of garbage everywhere she went. I cleaned up after her and I had to put something in a display but I did not have time to make it look pretty so I just chucked it in there like I always do. She screamed at me “what the hell is this?!” and I was walking away at that point and shouted back “it’s exactly what it looks like.” like what a dumb question. So I went downstairs to finish cleaning up after her because I did not have much time as she was going to leave soon.
When I come back upstairs Hetal was like “*what is going on with Karamjeet? She just told us to thank you for everything and she stormed out.” *
I’m like “well she said that she had to go at noon.”
“No I think she walked out and quit can you call her?”
For fuck sakes, I have 99 problems and PMS is not one. She did not answer my call but she showed up and started screaming at me in front of everybody. I calmly brought her into the office and she was just fuming. “What the hell was that!? You just threw everything in there like you were mad at me?!” I explained that I was not happy with how the day was going and how it was going to be worse after she left but that moment in the display had nothing to do with her. She was not satisfied with my answer. She gave me an ultimatum that she has been doing nothing but try and help me and she will not be disrespected and she’s been on antidepressants and there is something going on with me and some other random shit I can’t even keep track of. Literally did not have time for that, like if you’re going to leave right now then just leave right now. I have a store to run. She told me that I need to work on my answer for tomorrow because that is when she will decide if she will work with me or not.
Right! Now I remember more of her tangent, she is apparently very loyal and will treat me like a best friend and defend me when my boss talks shit… even though it is her talking the shit. Basically, she was being shitty all weekend and has been getting heat for it and as soon as she got a little bit of attitude from me she took a moment to make everything about her. My one second of sass is what she thinks we will be talking about tomorrow with my boss instead of her abandoning a scheduled shift for no good reason. Something that she had been planning all weekend while everybody pleaded with her not to. So I am pretty sure that she is just using this moment to keep her narcissistic hands clean. Also, she took the inventory sheet home with all the data so that she can fudge it from home. Unfornutaley for her I have an eidetic memory and I will know which numbers are fake or not.
I don’t know what I will do tomorrow. Clearly, she has bigger issues than I thought and I do not want her to quit. I do not want her to be angry. How do I get this woman, that is a smooth talker to listen to somebody else for a moment? I’ll drag her out for coffee before her shift starts and somehow get her to realize that she is.. dare I say it?… overreacting.

On another note I cannot get Ashely, the bride from the social, to talk to me lol. I’m basically boy problems.
