typos in poetry

covered your flaws over and over
these layers thick with white-out
hoping to hide and be as if anew
for someone else again and again
now here you are a scratch ticket
in full hoping someone might rub
all those old crusty things away
consider your long-hidden you
their grand prize after all

good luck to you too
