Weddings are just a thing when you’re a kid, but as an adult, you get all the implied meanings of the event.
My brother is off on his 2 week Maui honeymoon right now, but I’ll see about making an effort to get some pictures. Apparently people were snapping photos of me watching my nephew.
Remember, George’s kid? Man, I am just not here often enough if I’ve completely neglected to mention that.
There was a lot of crying, jesus. My dad wouldn’t stop going on about “what a good man you are”.
I’m a piece of shit, dude, c’mon.
I didn’t really know anyone there, which was fun. All his groomsmen were high school and work buddies, but they were nice, I guess. The bridesmaid I was paired with was nice, too.
I don’t guess that, I know, because on the second introduction, after my brother got married, all the pairs (groomsmen & bridesmaids) entered after the married couple with a dance move of some sort.
She didn’t wanna dab, didn’t wanna lean wit it (rock wit it), she asked if I could leapfrog.
I got these long dancers legs, baby, I can does it. Apparently it was a real hit because we got the most applause. It was nice seeing relatives I hadn’t seen in a while though.
Saw my cousins matt, john & connie, saw my aunt, of course my grandother was there, too.
My broth-..you know his name, right?
Anyway, when he saw his wife come down the aisle, he started crying.
I sort of went through most of the wedding in a semi-detached state; the jack & coke’s must’ve helped a little, too. I wondered what it’s like to genuinely love someone to the point of tears.

Which flavor of ice cream am I? Avoidant? Or schizotypal?
