And just like that the tapestry caught fire in Gathering of Poetry and Fiction

We weave our dreams together,
Carefully,
Strand by hesitant strand.
We share pieces of ourselves,
And slowly we form a plan.

Our hopes,
Or goals,
Our delights,
Our woes,
Our sins,
And our souls.

Together we weave the tapestry,
Trying to carefully keep each strand in place.
Some go astray, and that’s okay,
Beauty is imperfection anyway.

We smile,
And beam,
The fabric comes to life,
It shows OUR dream.

But then one day,
It didnt matter to you,
You threw it away,
Those dreams can’t come true.

You set fire to our tapastry,
With your burning lust,
How can we form a life of love,
Without any trust?

Goodbye my dear,
Dont worry about me,
Or about my fears.
There are other dreams to chase,
While I run from tears.
