Her scars and pain in Poetry

Her dark liquored eyes
Conceal heaven and night
The stars soak inside her eyes
Revealing the mysteries
The moon tries to hide
For she wished upon a star
Searching for the forbidden
And the unknown

The sands of time
Sway her hips
Inside fortune and deception
Gently and delicately
Persuading her soul
To adventure by sight
As she tries to consume
The void
Devouring her all her life

Silence
As her memories
Echo and replay in dreams
She tries to cast away
Her secrets
As her passions camouflage
Her milky white skin
That she dipped into sin

She’s traveled this far
Without direction
Wondering why
Heaven’s eyes
Open wide
About the mysteries
She disguises
Inside the prism
Concealing her fate
Even though her dreams
Foretell what she sedates
As she tries to rid herself
Of the scars
Reflecting her veins
