Quit The Machine in Writings

Let’s not scorn the sins
we’ve built our children
to commit
within the walls
that confine and encase
our spirits
the living dead
the glorified fears
we bow down to
all the time
that we exist
only because of our belief in it
We regurgitate
what we hate
re-live pain
we’ve fallen for
but we seem to love
the bitter taste
of less than nothing
we don’t bite the hand that feeds
we worship it
without knowing we
don’t need it’s sustenance
even when we don’t realize
our dollar bills cast votes
the only part we are STOCK in
a market of the machine
why haven’t we quit
