Sammy stuff today mostly in Second 1st

Went to the court house..... errrrk! back up.... last night apparently Sammy told the mother in law that I was going to go with him up there and she got upset. “You used to do things like that with me” .... she wants to guilt him into letting her do all the things she always has.

We went to the court house and asked about getting a hold of the docket number/his new birth certificate and the lady there said he can’t get it for himself until he’s 21! Really..... so he needed to have taken the mother in law anyways..... BUT.... 30 days after court the adoption should be finalized and the lawyer will send the papers to mother in law. We talked about it on the way home and kinda feel like she may have known that.

On the way back we decided that Sammy would take me on a campus tour :). So we got some gas and drove around campus. It’s HUGE. We ate lunch at Panda Express IN the Union Building. We checked out the book store to get a feel for what he’s going to have to spend. He filed for a scholarship that will give him $250 for books for this semester but he has to spend it at the bookstore at school. We looked around and clarified what he has to do next to get that money and how to buy them. He’s going to shop around for books :).

The rest of the day I plan making food for the weekend and working on The Leopard! All is as it should be.

2 hrs later:
Sent both the guys to work and am working on the food now. Sammy and I had a conversation today on our drive back from the courthouse. He wants to move to California after college. His last boyfriend told him it was silly. So we talked if he saves $20 a week while he’s in school he will have a little over $4,000 and that’s doable. We looked up apartments and there were like 6 for $500 a month or less right now IN L.A. .... His car will be paid off by then, so YES, yes you can. Keep the dream hun. It’s doable. SO...... I’ve decided what 3D diamond thing I’m doing for the room he occupies :).
