welcome to life blackbird. welcome to life.
I thought the ‘60’s were over but. apparently they’re not not for some people.
the days of prejudice aren’t over. homosexuals. are included in this too there’s something recently learned.
biphobia homophobia transphobia.........should never........should not exist but unfortunately they do. and sadly. too.
no one chooses their sexuality the same way they choose their religion. actually. doesn’t work that way.
the ‘60’s a time of hippies and love. only to find out. not so much.
even nowadays not everyone is so. accepting.
Sure we all act like it’s fine we cry we scream we fight we hurt.
sometimes. creep, by radiohead, really does say it all.
I thought. we’d learned from the civil rights movement and maybe some have and maybe some. never will.
so. welcome to life. disappointing painful but. welcome to life. welcome to being alive. and knowing. exactly who we are and knowing. we will always walk that line.
