Well I know I am behind in my 30 day prompts, but I have been so sick! It started on Sunday morning when I was working breakfast. I had to take some DayQuil to get through the day. I went home and took a nap and was hoping I would feel better when I woke up because everyone was coming over later on for the 60s party! I woke up and still felt like shit so I thought maybe I could drink it away...hah. I opened up the whiskey and was drinking that when everyone arrived. We started painting and I started feeling really dizzy. I thought maybe I needed some energy so I switched to Jagar and red bull. A couple hours later, I was still feeling shitty so I took some Day Quil. By midnight I thought I was going to die! I felt bad because everyone was having a good time and I didn't want anyone to feel like they had to leave, but I had to go to bed! Dave was super drunk! My friend Kat is half asian, half black and he like kept making racial comments to her and I was like AH so awkward. She was laughing them off, but I could tell she was irritated by it. I told everyone thanks for coming, but I thought I had a fever because it was like a hundred degrees in my apartment, yet I had goosebumps, so I just wanted to go to sleep. I went upstairs and my heart was racing! I put a cold pack on my head and shivered myself to sleep. Morning came and I felt MUCH better! Dave didn't get to bed until 4 in the morning and was super hungover, but we had already made plans with Alyson to take the train to Boston to do the duck boat tour! I took some more Dayquil and Dave took a hot shower and we made our way to Beverly depot. Despite my cold, and his hangover, we had a lot of fun! We got some amazing lobster rolls at this restaurant in Faneuil Hall and then while waiting for the tour bus, got some Slush! I love that stuff and it made my sore throat feel much better! We went on the "Super duck boat" which is 40 minutes on land, 40 minutes on sea! I loved exploring the Boston Harbor, and I really want to take a dinner cruise sometime! By the end of the day, I was feeling pretty shitty. We took the train home and I couldn't wait to crawl into bed! Yesterday I had to work the lunch shift. Luckily, I was working with Jon so it went by pretty fast. But then Paul comes in and tells us we have to stay on until around 9 at night because they are short staff. UGH! Jon was -this- close to putting in his 2-weeks, and I was pissed because Paul even knew I was sick and did not care. By the end of the shift, my voice was practically gone and my ears hurt sooo bad every time I swallowed and I could not stop coughing. When I got home, Dave surprised me with orange flowers, my favorite color! And put my heat pad in the microwave for me so I could put it on my ears. Then I took NyQuil, even though I am soo scared of that stuff because it always makes me trip out, but I just needed to fall asleep fast. I woke up this morning and I feel much better, but I might go see the doctor today to make sure I don't have an infection. Anyway, that was my crazy last few days!
