I busted my ass but this apartment looks NICE. Dave and I got not only a vacuum but also a steam-cleaner because Jasper-stench had to be ridden from our rug! My room finally smells good for once lol (not that I ever even use it anymore since I sleep in Dave's room) BUT Andrea and Tyler are going to be coming into town for a few days at the end of the month and I want the room nice for them!! Hopefully we will have a couch by then so I can move the futon into my room and they can have a place to sleep besides a twin mattress =P Well, speaking of the end of this month...Dave and I are going to be tying the knot court-style so Andrea, Tyler, and John are going to be our witnesses. We are super excited. It's not set in stone yet, but that is the plan so far. Speaking of John, he and I were the only closers the other night and it was seriously horrible. Not only did we have to do all closing-stuff on our own, but we had to do all of mid-shift stuff. Then some nasty liquid was lying at the bottom of a bucket and when I pulled off the top bucket it stunk up the entire deli and we almost threw up. I closed the slicers early because I was in "fuck-it" mood and we still barely got everything done in time. Oh yeah, AND coming back from taking out the trash we got pulled to ZONE CLOCKS. Frikkin kidding me? I hate that place. He was going to hit his five so I did the floors myself and by 11:45 I was ready for a walk-through. Stupid shelly took her sweet ass time. I called twice for a walk through. It was after midnight and she still hadn't shown up so I just left. Fuck that shit. Anyway, Dave's mother gave me a beautiful ring with three huge Moissanite stones and it used to be her wedding ring. I want to somehow incorporate it into my final wedding band piece, but I just don't know how yet. Also, tomorrow I am meeting Dave's father and his step-mom. I am pretty nervous about it. I feel like I already met Dave's mom because we did a face time chat thing, but his dad just seems a bit more distant. I have been friends with his mom on facebook for awhile now, but his dad and I aren't. So I feel a little nervous about it. His step-mom seems really nice though, she did add me on facebook. Oh yeah, friends from Cali were up this week. We had a lot of fun together and it is so nice seeing familiar faces! I miss so many people from Cali and I can't wait to see them all in September when I go back for my moms 50th and brothers 21st. Plus I have SO much wedding stuff to do in that short time we are down there!! I am pretty excited. Already found the dress of my dreams and found out my cousin works at David's Bridal so works out perfect. I want blue, green, and purple colors in my wedding because I want a peacock theme. My grandmother died when I was 13 and ever since, my family and I get signs from her: peacocks. It's because when she was dying randomly a peacock flew up on her roof and was perched there for hours and hours (keep in mind peacocks are never seen around where she lived) so it is definitely something special between me and a few of my family members and incorporating the peacock into my wedding will help me feel like I have my grandmother there with me. I know it is going to be REALLY hard not having her or Papa at the wedding, because I always imagined he and my father would both walk me down the aisle. I just hope I don't start crying on my big day!!
